Planner, Construction, Civil Engineering

You will be working in the Infrastructure OU based in Peterborough in where we are responsible for bringing design, build and refurbishment excellence to complex civil engineering projects nationwide – combining technical expertise with a passion for creating lasting value for people and places.

We are currently looking for a Planner who will work with the project planning team to develop, maintain and update the project programme.

• Assist in maintaining and updating main project programme, applying the correct coding so that the programme suits the project and Skanska’s needs.
• Programmes are clearly communicated to all users in a way that suits them and that highlights the constraints and resources that they have to work with
• Provide the link between the planning and delivery teams initiating the short-term programme and assisting the delivery team with its development.
• Identify areas of developing programme risk with the planning and project team.
• Review supplier's programmes, ensuring that they align with the required planning standards and project requirements / dates.

• Understanding of various forms of construction documents, contracts and specifications.
• Experience of various methods of planning, programming, and progress monitoring working for a construction contractor.
• Degree/HND/HNC in Construction / Engineering is preferred.
