Site Manager

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a fire door installation/remedial works scheme in Peterborough.

The project will be delivered within a live environment, so the successful candidate must be confident managing works around building occupants, maintaining high standards of health & safety, coordinating trades and ensuring disruption is kept to a minimum.

Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-day management of the fire door works
Managing and coordinating subcontractors and site operatives
Ensuring works are completed safely, to programme and to the required quality standards
Managing works effectively within a live/occupied environment
Site inductions, toolbox talks and general H&S compliance
Liaising with the client, residents/occupants and project team
Monitoring progress and reporting on site activities
Ensuring good housekeeping and professional site standards throughout

Essential Requirements:

Valid SMSTS
Valid CSCS Card
Valid First Aid
Available for Day and Night shifts
Previous experience working as a Site Manager
Experience managing projects in live/occupied environments
Strong health & safety knowledge
Excellent communication and organisational skills
