We’re looking for Assistant Site Managers who will support our Site Managers in the safe, efficient and compliant delivery of construction activities, ensuring works are completed to the required standards of safety, quality, cost and programme.
The role provides day-to-day leadership to site teams and subcontractors, coordinating multiple work activities while developing the skills and experience required to progress into a Site Manager position. You will deputise for the Site Manager when required, and play a key role in driving performance, continuous improvement, and effective stakeholder management.
- Support Site Managers and operational teams to achieve project objectives.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of construction activities.
- Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to ensure efficient delivery.
- Assist in the management and coordination of site resources.
- Promote a positive, collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Build positive relationships with project teams, promoting an inclusive and respectful working environment by encouraging collaboration and diverse perspectives.
- Previous experience as a Site Supervisor or equivalent, on medium-sized construction projects
- Relevant SMSTS training, CSCS card and Health & Safety or First Aid at Work courses
- Programme and resource management experience
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A valid UK driving licence.
