Working closely with experienced Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors, you'll assist with project cost control, remeasurement of works and variations, stock inventories, valuations and interim and final accounts. You'll also support the administration of subcontractor accounts, helping to manage cash effectively, maintain accurate contract records and promote positive, long-standing supply chain relationships. As your experience develops, you'll contribute to progress meetings and work closely with clients, Professional Quantity Surveyors, design teams, supply chain partners and internal project colleagues.
Accuracy will be central to your role, with responsibility for producing clear, timely and reliable commercial documentation. About you You'll be organised, numerate and commercially aware, with a genuine interest in developing your career within Quantity Surveying. You'll have strong attention to detail, good communication skills and the confidence to build effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
An understanding of measurement, valuation, cost control, construction or contract administration would be beneficial. Most importantly, you'll be motivated to learn, comfortable asking for guidance and committed to producing accurate , high-quality work.
