Your new company is a well-established specialist contractor operating within the roofing, cladding, façade and building envelope sector. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across a range of sectors, the business continues to secure new work and maintain a healthy project pipeline. As a result of continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to strengthen their commercial team.

Your new role:
As an Estimator, you will play a key role in producing accurate and competitive tenders for roofing, cladding and façade packages. Working closely with the commercial and operational teams, you will review tender documentation, carry out take-offs, obtain and analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations, and prepare detailed cost estimates.

You will be responsible for identifying risks and opportunities within tenders, supporting value engineering exercises, and ensuring submissions are commercially viable whilst remaining competitive. The role offers exposure to a varied portfolio of projects and the opportunity to become a valued member of an experienced team.

What you'll need to succeed:

Previous experience as an Estimator within roofing, cladding, façades, curtain walling, rainscreen systems or a similar specialist construction environment.

Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications and tender documentation.

Experience producing accurate cost plans and competitive tender submissions.

Commercial awareness and the ability to identify project risks and opportunities.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to tender deadlines.
