Contracts Manager - Construction

Salary: 60k - 70k + Company Vehicle/Car Allowance + Benefits

PPM Recruitment is working with a well-established privately owned main contractor seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join its growing team near Peterborough. Reporting to the Construction Director, you will oversee multiple construction projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

• Manage multiple construction projects across the region.
• Monitor project programmes, budgets and commercial performance.
• Lead, support and develop Site Managers and project teams.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
• Identify and manage project risks, delays and operational challenges.
• Chair progress meetings and report to senior management.
• Drive quality, efficiency and client satisfaction across all projects.

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction industry.
• Experience delivering both new-build and refurbishment projects.
• Strong commercial, contractual and financial management skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• SMSTS, CSCS and relevant construction qualifications preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.
