Job Details

Location:

Peterborough (Fully onsite initially, transitioning to hybrid)

Contract Duration: 12 months (with strong potential for extension)

Pay Rate: GBP
14.15 per hour (PAYE)

Responsibilities
  • Account Management:
    Act as the single point of contact for assigned customer accounts, managing the entire order lifecycle from setup and entry to tracking and logistics.
  • Issue Resolution:
    Own and resolve complex customer inquiries and escalations through detailed research and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
    Ensure accurate records are maintained and that all export/shipping documentation complies with relevant legislation and policies.
  • Quality Liaison:
    Act as the bridge between customers and manufacturing locations for any quality or non‑conformance claims.
  • Reporting:
    Prepare and distribute standard and customised internal and customer reports.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a Customer Order Management (COM) or Customer Service (CS) role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Solid understanding or affinity for technical environments and processes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage diverse stakeholder relationships.
  • Sharp eye for detail and the ability to navigate complex tracking and quality management systems.
  • Full‑time position requiring 5 days per week onsite during the initial training period, with the expectation to evolve into a hybrid model (2 days remote per week) later on.
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK.
