My client is a well-established, medium-sized architectural practice with a reputation for delivering exceptional residential designs. Our diverse portfolio spans bespoke new builds, high-end extensions, and premium refurbishments, with luxury project values reaching up to £6m. Due to a rapidly growing pipeline of exciting projects, they are looking to expand our talented team.

The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Intermediate or Senior Architectural Technician to take ownership of their work and drive high-profile residential projects forward. You will play a pivotal role in taking schemes from the initial planning stages straight through to building regulations and completion, with genuine opportunities to run your own projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and submit comprehensive planning applications and detailed building regulations packages.

* Technical project delivery, ensuring all designs comply with current UK regulations and standards.

* Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and internal design teams.

* Manage and coordinate project documentation using AutoCAD.

* Oversee projects on-site where required, ensuring design integrity is maintained.

What We Are Looking For

* Experience:

A minimum of 5+ years of post-qualification experience working within the UK architectural sector.

* Sector Expertise: A proven track record of working on residential projects (refurbishments and new builds).

* Technical

Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, alongside a rock-solid understanding of UK Building Regulations.

* Qualifications:

Educated to HNC level or higher. A professional membership with CIAT is highly desirable.

* Attributes: A proactive mindset with the confidence to run projects independently and manage client relationships.
