Nursery Practitioner

Dovetail and Slate, an employment business working in partnership with over 200 colleges across the UK, is offering exciting nursery opportunities for individuals with experience supporting learners or from a care background. No formal teaching qualifications are required – just genuine enthusiasm for supporting learners in their educational journey.

• Implement day-to-day routines, including tidying nursery activities
• Prepare snacks and drinks for tea time
• Support children's independence through care routines
• Attend room and team meetings
• Work as part of a team to provide quality care and education to a high standard

• Level 2 childcare qualification and willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check
• Level 2 in English and Maths
• Experience working with children aged 0‑5
• Up-to-date safeguarding training, or willingness to obtain
• Enhanced DBS, or willingness to obtain
