Maths Teacher

We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Peterborough seeking a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent temp opportunity for a skilled teacher looking for stability, progression, and a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities:
 
* Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
 
* Plan, prepare, and assess high-quality teaching materials that support pupils of varying abilities.
 
* Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic development.
 
* Contribute to the wider Maths department through collaboration and resource-sharing.
 
* Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
 
* Support the school with duties, parents’ evenings, and pastoral responsibilities as required.
Requirements:
 
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
 
* Strong subject knowledge of the secondary Maths curriculum.
 
* Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is beneficial but not essential).
 
* Excellent behaviour management and classroom engagement skills.
 
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet marking and planning deadlines.
 
* Passionate about teaching and committed to pupil progress.
