Are you passionate about early years education and supporting children’s development? Join our friendly and inclusive team at Soke Education Trust as a Childcare Practitioner. You’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and education for children in our setting. This is a varied role, covering the EYFS curriculum, acting as a key person for a small group of children, and supervising both breakfast and after-school club sessions.
You’ll help create a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment where every child can thrive.
Within this role you will work 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09.00 to 15.30 term time only 38 weeks per academic year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:As our new Early Years & Childcare Practitioner, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering EYFS curriculum activities
- Supporting children’s learning and conducting regular observations and assessments
- Acting as a key person to nominated children, tracking progress and building strong relationships with families
- Escorting children to the out of school club
- Ensuring all safeguarding, health & safety, and dietary requirements are met
