Design Technology DT Teacher

Design Technology (DT) Teacher positions in Peterborough and surrounding areas. Competitive pay of £140 to £261 per day. Immediate starts and September 2026 starts available. Flexible, temporary or permanent roles.

• Teach Design Technology across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
• Deliver engaging, practical and theory‑based lessons.
• Specialisms may include product design, resistant materials, graphics, engineering and food technology.
• Adapt to different school environments (supply roles).
• Plan and mark lessons (long‑term/permanent roles).
• Ensure safe and effective use of workshop and classroom equipment.
• Maintain strong classroom management.

• QTS or relevant UK teaching experience.
• Experience teaching DT in UK secondary schools.
• Strong subject knowledge across one or more DT specialisms.
• Proactive, flexible and professional approach.
