Do you have a passion for supporting students to succeed in Higher Education? University Centre Peterborough is looking for a proactive and student-focused individual to join our Higher Education team as a HE Student Coordinator. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in enhancing the student experience, supporting wellbeing, and helping students successfully continue, achieve and progress throughout their Higher Education journey.

Working at Peterborough, you will lead and coordinate the Student Support Advisor team while acting as a central point of guidance and support for students, academic staff and wider stakeholders across both campuses. About the Role In this varied and impactful role, the HE Student Coordinator will:
Lead and support the Student Support Advisor team across Peterborough and Stamford Provide impartial advice and guidance to HE students on welfare, academic processes, student finance and support services Monitor attendance, retention and student engagement, identifying and supporting students at risk Coordinate interventions and support plans to improve student outcomes and satisfaction Work closely with academic teams, Additional Learning Support and external agencies to ensure students receive appropriate support Support compliance with Office for Students (OfS) requirements, awarding body regulations and institutional policies Coordinate wellbeing initiatives, hardship support and student engagement activities Produce reports and contribute to committees focused on student achievement and experience Maintain accurate student records and ensure confidentiality at all times About You We are looking for someone who is highly organised, approachable and passionate about supporting students in Higher Education.

Our next HE Student Coordinator will ideally have:

Experience with in a student support, education or customer-focused environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience coordinating teams or services The ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Confidence working with data, systems and reporting processes An understanding of student wellbeing, safeguarding and inclusivity
