ARU is a global university focused on innovative and inclusive education. ARU Peterborough, opened in September 2022, offers a BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science programme that has grown steadily and is seeking professional accreditation and expansion.
About the RoleThe Senior Lecturer will lead curriculum development, contribute to accreditation processes, and expand the biomedical sciences portfolio. The role includes initiating and developing research activity within the team, supporting a research‑informed academic culture.
Responsibilities- Provide academic leadership in curriculum design and teaching delivery.
- Contribute to the accreditation of the BSc (Hons) programme.
- Play a central role in expanding undergraduate and postgraduate offerings.
- Initiate and develop research activity within the biomedical science team.
- Support the growth of a vibrant research‑informed academic culture.
- Doctorate in biomedical science or a closely related field.
- Established research background in clinical pathology, clinical immunology, pharmacology or translational medicine.
- Strong record of teaching excellence in biomedical science.
