Do you have the ambition to improve behaviour and outcomes for young people?
Are you committed to taking responsibility for supporting every student to succeed?
Can you consistently demonstrate respect in every interaction, even in the most demanding situations?
As Behaviour Support Co‑ordinator, you will be at the heart of our behaviour and pastoral provision, working closely with students who need consistent, skilled support to succeed. You will take a proactive, restorative approach, helping young people understand and improve their behaviour while maintaining high expectations and strong boundaries. Your work will include supporting individuals and groups, liaising with staff and families, and helping to create a calm, purposeful learning environment where all students can thrive.
You will bring strong behaviour management skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to de‑escalate challenging situations confidently and compassionately. Experience of working with young people in a school or pastoral setting will enable you to respond effectively to a wide range of needs, while your resilience and professionalism will ensure consistency and fairness. You will be an excellent communicator, able to work as part of a team while also using your initiative to make sound decisions under pressure.
