We have several contracts to offer up to 35 hours per week during term time only. £25,043 FTE (salary will be pro rata according to hours worked) The Learning Support Worker role includes:
Supporting students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. Helping learners stay motivated, engaged and confident. Supporting literacy, numeracy and study skills. Using assistive technology and learning resources. Working closely with tutors and the wider ALS team to provide effective support. Maintaining accurate learner records and contributing to reviews. We're looking for someone who:
Enjoys supporting others to succeed. Is patient, caring and approachable. Has Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent). Has experience working with young people or adults with additional needs (desirable). Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively. Is committed to safeguarding, equality and inclusion.
