About the Role:
We are workign closely with a school in Peterborough to recruit an EYFS Teacher for September 2026. The role is workingmornings only as part of a part-time, temporary maternity cover.
The school offers a welcoming and nurturing Early Years setting, with a strong focus on child-centred learning, inclusion and positive early development.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons during morning sessions
- Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for young learners
- Assess and monitor pupil progress in line with EYFS expectations
- Work collaboratively with Early Years staff to ensure continuity of learning
- Support pupils’ social, emotional and early learning development
- Relevant teaching qualifications, including Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience of teaching within EYFS
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
- Two education or school-based references
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
