About the role
justteachers teaching agency are looking to recruit a KS2 Class teacher to work within one of our partner primary schools located in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
As a Church of England Aided School, Collective Worship is an important part of the school day. The school gathers each day to take part in collective worship based on a topic for each term. The school embraces a Christian ethos and values which are focused around creating an ambitious, positive and supportive learning environment for children to thrive. They promote a positive attitude to life‑long learning, nurturing the development of self‑esteem;
leading to aspirational, independent learners that are prepared to be challenged and take risks in a diverse and ever‑changing world.
The position is to start September 2026 and is a long‑term supply role with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities- Have the ability to plan, prepare and deliver lessons to a mixed Y4/5 class.
- Be creative & knowledgeable – able to provide relevant learning to children that links across the curriculum and engages children with the learning process.
- Hold high aspirations and expectations of all children and self – proactive about self‑improvement.
- Passionate & reflective about the learning process and interested in educational research.
- Be a qualified teacher holding UK QTS.

- Have recent experience of teaching in KS2 (years 3‑6) and have the ability to differentiate and adapt learning across a mixed year group class.
- Hold high aspirations and expectations of all children and self – proactive about self‑improvement.
- Passionate & reflective about the learning process and interested in educational research.
- Be well organised and willing to go the ‘extra mile’.
- Be caring and develop positive relationships with all children.
- Have high expectations for teaching, learning and behaviour.
