What You'll Be Doing As a Lecturer in Public Services, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons. Develop innovative learning resources, including online materials. Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback. Set and monitor individual SMART targets. Support students to achieve high levels of attendance, retention and success. Use a variety of teaching methods, including blended and technology-enhanced learning. Participate in student recruitment activities, interviews and open events. Contribute to course development and quality improvement activities.

What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who has: A qualification in Public Services or a related subject at Level 3, Level 4, HND, degree level or equivalent professional qualification. Industry experience within the Public Services sector. A passion for teaching and supporting learners to achieve their full potential.
Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills. Strong IT skills and confidence using digital learning technologies. We are particularly interested in candidates with strong industry experience within the Public Services sector. Previous teaching experience or a teaching qualification is advantageous but not essential, as we will support the successful candidate in gaining an appropriate teaching qualification alongside their role.
