Design Technology Teacher

Grade A Recruitment is working with a school on the outskirts of Peterborough to appoint a Design Technology Teacher / Instructor on a full‑time basis from September 2026.

• Plan and deliver engaging Design Technology lessons up to GCSE level
• Assess, monitor and record pupil progress
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Ensure all practical activities are delivered safely and in line with health and safety requirements
• Contribute to the wider success of the department

• Qualified Teacher, Instructor or relevant Design Technology professional
• Experience teaching or delivering Design Technology up to GCSE level
• DATA Health & Safety accreditation
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Ability to engage and inspire learners
• Passion for Design Technology and pupil achievement

QTS Teachers will receive a bonus of £250 when registering with Grade A and working a minimum of 10 days.
