Overview
Early Years Assistant (Grade 4 SCP 3-5). Permanent positions; 35 hours or 32.5 hours (5 days per week) preferable but part time positions may be considered (contact the school to discuss).
Salary and working time- Salary £24,796 - £25,583 pro-rata
- Term Time Only plus 5 Inset Days: 39 weeks 195 days
- Working hours for 35 hours per week are 7:50am to 4:05pm (promptly in the classroom) and 8:50am to 4:05pm alternative weeks to cover breakfast club every other week
- Working hours for 32.5 hours per week are 8:50am to 4:05pm (promptly in the classroom)
- Working hours for part-time must incorporate either 8:50am start time or 4:05pm finish time
- Actual salary for 35 hours £20,085 - £20,723
- Actual salary for 32.5 hours £18,651 - £19,243
The role will require you to work as a key person and member of a class team delivering the EYFS, in the classroom and our magical outdoor learning environment. You will be working with children aged between 2 and 4 years old, some of whom have additional needs. Please see the Job Description and Person Specification for the roles.
QualificationsYou MUST hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent that allows you to work in an Early Years Setting. Please send a copy of your Certificate confirming your Childcare Qualification when submitting your application.
Additional requirementsFluency Duty:
In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
