Non-Qualified Teaching rate for trainee teachers £25,339.11 – £26,881.82

Pro-rata 37 hours per week (term time only + 2 weeks)

City College Peterborough is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Multi-Skilled Tutor in Health and Social Care to join our successful and growing Study Skills department.

This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and support learners aged 14-24, helping them develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to progress into further study and rewarding careers within the Health and Social Care sector.

As a Health and Social Care Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning across a range of programmes and qualification levels. You will create engaging and inclusive learning experiences that motivate learners to achieve their full potential.

Working within a supportive and learner-focused environment, you will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering innovative lessons, monitoring learner progress, and contributing to the ongoing development of the department.

The role also involves providing tutorial support, maintaining accurate learner records and carrying out the administrative duties associated with the position.

We are seeking a motivated individual who is passionate about Health and Social Care and committed to delivering outstanding learning experiences.

  • Vocational qualification in Health and Social Care at Level 3 or above
  • Strong and current industry knowledge
  • Ability to deliver engaging and effective teaching and learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with young people
  • Experience supporting learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), adapting teaching approaches and resources to meet individual needs and promote positive learner outcomes.

The role will be working with 14–24-year-old Learners
