Pay: £90 - £110 per day

Choice Teachers are working with a large network of secondary schools across Peterborough who are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to join their teams through our agency.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on classroom experience, develop your confidence working with young people and get a genuine insight into life within a secondary school.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher
• Deliver pre prepared lesson work
• Support students with their learning
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
  
  Build strong relationships with students and school staff
• Gain valuable experience across different secondary school settings

We welcome applications from graduates of all backgrounds who are considering a career in education.

Previous experience working with children or young people would be ideal, such as:

• Tutoring
• Sports coaching
• Youth work
• Mentoring
• Volunteering
• Teaching or classroom experience

However,
this is not a deal breaker
. We are particularly interested in candidates who are confident, enthusiastic, responsible and genuinely interested in working with young people.

• Enhanced DBS must be attained
• Strong communication skills
• A professional and reliable approach
• Confidence working with secondary aged pupils
• A genuine interest in developing a career in education
