Aspire People are currently recruiting for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher to join a secondary school in the Peterborough area from approximately November 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Business Studies specialist who is confident teaching across KS4 and KS5 and is looking for a role where they can take ownership of their classes and provide pupils with consistency throughout their studies.

The school is ideally looking for somebody full-time who can become an integral part of the department.

• Teaching Business Studies across KS4 and KS5
• Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured Business lessons
• Taking responsibility for planning, preparation and marking
• Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
• Supporting students preparing for examinations and assessments
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Working collaboratively with colleagues within the department
• Creating an engaging learning environment that helps students connect Business Studies with the wider world

• A qualified Business Studies Teacher / Business Teacher
• QTS, QTLS or an appropriate teaching qualification
• Strong subject knowledge within Business Studies
• Experience teaching KS4 Business Studies
• The confidence and subject knowledge to teach KS5 Business Studies
• Experience with planning, marking and assessment
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A professional, reliable and enthusiastic approach
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
• References covering the required safeguarding period

The school is ideally seeking a full-time Business Studies Teacher, so this could be an excellent opportunity if you're looking for greater consistency and the chance to take responsibility for your own classes rather than general day-to-day supply.
