25 hours per week over 5 days a week

10am - 3pm, including 1:1 support at lunchtimes

38 weeks per year

Fixed-term position until 31/08/2027, to support a child with individual needs

Grade D3-4 £ 25614 FTE, £14,519.71 actual per annum

We are looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with high needs. • Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with complex needs, in line with their EHCP
• Supporting learning, communication, and social development
• Working closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, and external professionals
• Contributing to a nurturing and structured learning environment
• Communicating with families

• Enthusiastic, approachable and friendly
• Has experience supporting children with SEND,
• Is patient, empathetic, and adaptable
• Can work effectively as part of a team and independently
• Is committed to promoting inclusion and celebrating every child's strengths
• Has good literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
• Has experience of early years and the early years curriculum
• A person who understands our children and our community and who is able to build supportive and respectful relationships with children whilst maintaining confidentiality and following the school's Code of Conduct;
• An energetic individual who smiles often, engages with the children and models the values and ethos of our school at all times.
