Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the full public examination cycle, from entries through to results, certificate sand post-results services.
- Ensure all examination processes, systems and procedures comply with JCQ and awarding body regulations.
- Coordinate internal and external examination arrangements, including timetables, rooming, resources,staffing and examination security.
- Recruit, train and manage examination invigilators and coordinate effective invigilation.
- Work closely with the SENDCo toensure appropriate access arrangements and reasonable adjustments are implemented and evidenced.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, senior leaders and examination boards,responding to queries and resolving issues as required.
- Manage examination clashes,unexpected issues and emergencies in accordance with regulations and safeguarding procedures.
- Maintain accurate examination records, candidate numbers and relevant data, and support the analysis and reporting of examination information.
- Lead and support JCQ inspections and ensure examination policies and procedures are fully evidenced.
