£30,000 - £40,000 + other benefits included (Mon - Fri 8am-4pm, days based, overtime, progression, pension, company van, on call, training, qualifications, tool allowance, private medical)

Excellent opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join a well-established and growing heavy equipment dealership offering long term stability, technical development and strong overtime potential.

This company is a recognised name within the construction and power generation sector, supporting heavy plant and diesel generator equipment across a regional territory. With continued investment in training and product development, they provide structured progression and specialist technical training.

In this role, you will be field based carrying out diagnostics, servicing, installations and breakdown repairs on diesel generators and heavy plant machinery. You will cover a local patch, working independently while delivering high standards of service and technical support.

This role would suit a mechanically biased engineer from a plant, generator, agricultural or heavy equipment background looking for a stable Monday to Friday position with strong earning potential.

• Field based servicing and repair of diesel generators and heavy plant equipment
• Installation and commissioning of generator sets
• Electrical fault finding and control system wiring

• NVQ Level 2 or above in Plant Engineering / Maintenance
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault finding skills
• Experience with hydraulics, transmissions, diesel engines or similar
• 18th Edition beneficial
• Full UK Driving Licence
