BIM Coordinator – Anglian Water @One Alliance

As part of Anglian Water’s @one Alliance, you will help create a sustainable and resilient future for water with an ambitious £2.3 billion capital investment in AMP
8. Your role involves managing digital modelling across a group of projects, leading BIM technicians, and ensuring models comply with project requirements and BIM procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend and contribute to design coordination meetings to resolve clashes and discrepancies within models, and identify opportunities in cost efficiencies, programme, safety and sustainability.
  • Use BIM models to identify potential design risks and mitigation measures and share with the design team.
  • Support the extraction of relevant data and information from BIM models to support the preparation of PCI documents.
  • Ensure that all design‑related data is correctly structured and easily accessible within the models.
  • Support model catalogue management to streamline data organisation and optimise the use of intelligent 3D models.
  • Work closely with technicians, engineers, technical manager, and other project team members to ensure design inputs are accurately represented in BIM models.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to design teams on BIM‑related issues.
  • Support creating a positive and fulfilling environment where everyone is respected and heard, and treated equally.
  • Proactively research and implement innovative new processes and ways of working to optimise output.
Your Skills, Experience and Behaviours

You hold an engineering diploma, degree or equivalent. You have extensive experience in both mechanical and civil disciplines, with proven proficiency in Plant3D, Civil3D, Revit, Navisworks, and Recap software. Experience of water‑sector assets, delivering capital projects and design & build environment is preferred.

You demonstrate compliance with the organisation’s business ethics, maintain a respectful attitude towards others within the alliance, Anglian Water and customers, protect the reputation of the company, and exhibit integrity. You foster good collaboration and communication with project teams and possess effective personal and social skills, championing diversity and inclusion.
