- This role is field Based (Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, East Anglia). You will be provided a company van and work across the central region; within this you could be expected to travel up to 2.5 hours depending on customer requirements

What will you be doing for us?

Our Mechanical and Electrical teams work at our Plants and are responsible for the day‑to‑day planned preventive maintenance and reactive repairs, electrical and instrumentation assets on a variety of water treatment sites. Once you have completed your apprenticeship you will be required to report on failing/failed assets and diagnose more complex faults utilising your training and deciding on and carrying out the most appropriate and cost‑effective solution.

You will need to regularly monitor the performance of our assets using available IT systems and will be expected to identify and promote necessary asset enhancements to enable optimum infrastructure performance.

You will gain a nationally recognised qualification, valuable practical skills, and guidance and support from an experienced team.

To be successful as an Alpheus Apprentice you will require:
  • GCSE (or equivalent) Grade A‑C or 9‑4 in Maths, English
  • A desire to learn while working in a practical environment
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weathers
  • A passion for problem‑solving, fault finding and doing the right thing
  • Full UK manual driving licence
