About the role
We are part of the Anglian Water @one Alliance, a collaborative organisation delivering large‑scale water projects. The Senior Planner will be responsible for meticulous planning and coordination to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Lead collaborative digital planning and production meetings to ensure clarity of requirements and expectations.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans in accordance with @one and AW requirements.
- Liaise with delivery teams to ensure consistency in methodology and outputs.
- Proactively identify opportunities and risks and explore mitigation strategies.
- Develop 4D animations of project plans to aid in digital rehearsal of construction.
- Gather progress information and communicate effects on key dates, challenging the team to deliver on time.
- Attend site regularly to gather programme update information.
- Communicate critical paths and key activities in team meetings.
- Advise the team on priorities to prevent activities from becoming critical.
- Attend meetings as required and provide project‑specific reports as needed.
- Maintain planning standards across @one and adhere to published processes.
- Ensure integrity of project plans and actively participate in driving best practices.
- Ensure alignment between plans and cost forecasts.
- Minimum five years of experience in large‑scale projects within the Civil Engineering sector, preferably in the Water Industry.
- Essential experience with P6 (Primavera).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage complex project plans effectively.
