We are looking for a Senior/Design Engineer – Civil based in Peterborough

• Support the Senior Civil Engineer by delivering high-quality engineering designs that reduce risk and enhance profitability on turnkey and engineering service contracts, ensuring all design documentation complies with safety, specifications, and contract standards.
• Develop cost-effective design layouts that meet specification requirements and are practical for construction and commissioning.
• Provide estimates and feedback for proposals department.
• Follow established procedures and processes to support the department’s ongoing development, while actively monitoring and reviewing them for continuous improvement.
• Ensure design coordination across all disciplines, to streamline design processes and support overall contract success.
• Ensure all designs consider environmental impacts and fully comply with health and safety requirements.

• Possess a minimum of an HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, along with substantial experience in the civil engineering field.
• Understand the principles of water and sewage treatment.
• Minimum qualification:
  
  HND in a relevant engineering discipline; preferably a degree in a related engineering field.
• Skilled in rationalizing designs to create cost-effective plant layouts, with the ability to present technical proposals clearly, confidently, and persuasively.
