Senior Planner

FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Senior Planner to strengthen the planning team.

• As Senior Project Planner, you’ll lead the team, and mentor junior planners.
• You’ll ensure timely delivery, identify risks, and foster a high-performance culture.

• Collaborate to create and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring methodology adherence and meeting requirements.
• Ensure project plans accurately reflect the full project scope and resource allocation.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, monitor critical paths, and advise the team on potential changes.
• Develop 4D animations to visualize and rehearse the project construction.
• Design and implement effective communication plans to ensure stakeholder buy-in and understanding.
• Ensure adherence to planning standards and published processes.
• Appreciate and uphold the Health & Safety standards in all planning processes.

• Demonstrated experience in Civil Engineering, ideally within the Water Industry.
• P6 experience and leadership in collaborative planning processes.
• Able to analyse drawings to develop efficient planning solutions for the business.
• Effective communication skills.
• Adaptable, innovative, and supportive team player who enhances the Planning team’s reputation.
