Previous experience as a Technical Coordinator or similar role is desirable, however we are looking for someone hungry to develop their career, ambitious and motivated to broaden their experience.

We need a competent individual with an engineering background prepared to take responsibility, work pro‑actively and autonomously while reporting to the Technical Director and Technical Manager in a close‑knitted team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a broad role within the technical team, involving all stages of the development cycle – feasibility, reports, planning, design, drawings, approvals, tracking and prioritising to meet business needs.
  • Provide excellent service and advice to other departments.
  • Coordinate the appointment and coordination of consultants’ reports for planning and building regulation applications.
  • Coordinate technical approvals / consents / section agreements and stage‑to‑adoption/vesting, including roads and sewers / pump stations.
  • Review specialist design proposals (floors, joists, trusses, etc.) and collate information for project handover to commercial / construction.
  • Coordinate utilities, provide comparable quotations to commercial, and coordinate design through to start on site; experience with Anglian Water Inflow system is advantageous.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Previous experience in house building and housing developments.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD in construction.
  • Good understanding of the house building / construction / development cycle.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple administrative and design‑related tasks throughout the development process to ensure programme requirements are met.
  • Knowledge of Building Regulations and NHBC / LABC Warranty standards.
  • Strong organisational, prioritisation, and problem‑solving skills with a flexible approach.
  • Methodical and meticulous attention to detail, with a good attitude toward hard work.
