Location:
Peterborough
Rate: £38.50 FCSA Umbrella (Inside IR35) or £28 PAYE
Duration: 12 months (Likely to extend)
We are actively seeking a Design Engineer for a global automotive company in Peterborough. The role is to design and develop components and assemblies, including engine rigging systems, mechanical systems, driveline components, and bespoke test rigs.
Responsibilities- Design and development of components and assemblies, including engine rigging systems, mechanical systems, driveline components, and bespoke test rigs.
- Engineering degree with a mechanical bias or equivalent.
- Experience using Creo CAD and Teamcenter.
- Geometric tolerancing knowledge (GD&T).
- Ability to understand detailed drawings and technical specifications.
- Good fundamental knowledge of engines.
