Through our role in the @one Alliance, we’re helping Anglian Water deliver a £2.6billion investment in vital infrastructure. From civil works to water treatment, this programme protects water resources across the East of England while using digital innovation to deliver sustainable solutions and climate goals.

You will be working in the Infrastructure function working on our Anglian Water Project. As the Assistant Environment & Sustainability Manager, you will:
- Lead environmental and sustainability support across construction projects, producing clear site-specific documentation and communicating requirements to project teams.
- Ensure compliance with environmental legislation while driving best practice across the @one Alliance.
- Deliver environmental assurance on site through Site Set Up Environmental Audits, CEIRs, and other risk-based inspections.
- Lead environmental incident reporting for CAT2, CAT3, and CAT4/Near Miss events, and support CAT1 investigations.
- Review key project documents, including PEMPs, and introduce innovative ideas and sustainable technologies from partner companies into the @one Alliance.
We are looking for:
- Degree-qualified in an environmental discipline.
- Strong subject matter expertise across contaminated land, statutory nuisance, waste management, soil testing, ecology, archaeology, and incident investigation.
- Practitioner or Full Member of a relevant professional body.
- Proven experience producing clear reports and dashboards.
- Skilled in document production using Excel, Word, GIS, and PowerPoint.
