Are you an experienced Fuel Systems Engineer with a strong background in high-pressure fuel systems and diesel engines?
We're looking for a Development Engineer
- Fuel Systems to join an established engineering team in Peterborough, working on exciting new diesel engine programmes and taking projects from development through to production.
This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll have the opportunity to own fuel system development activities, solve complex technical problems and work closely with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.
You’ll be involved in design reviews, supplier development, technical risk assessment, validation and testing, as well as supporting the resolution of engineering issues through structured problem-solving.
What we're looking for- 5+ years' relevant engineering experience.
- Strong experience in fuel system development.
- Proven knowledge of high-pressure fuel systems.
- Experience with diesel or reciprocating engines.
- Good understanding of mechanical engineering and manufacturing principles.
- Experience with APQP, FMEA and DVP&R would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Off-highway diesel engine experience would be highly desirable.
- Experience with CAD, PLM systems, simulation, rig testing or system testing would also be beneficial.
You’ll be working on new product development, collaborating with experienced engineers and suppliers and helping deliver the next generation of diesel engine products.
£40.73 per hour | Inside IR35 | 12 months + potential extension
Monday-Friday | 5 days on-site | Peterborough
