Graduate Electrical Engineer

The Role

At @one Alliance, we bring together eight leading organisations to deliver Anglian Water’s capital investment programme across the East of England. Together, we’re delivering projects to help protect and improve one of the UK’s most important resources - water.

As a Graduate Electrical Engineer you’ll be part of this exciting programme from the start, gaining hands‑on experience of Process Engineering across major infrastructure projects.

You’ll work alongside experienced Engineering professionals building your knowledge, developing your skills and working towards a successful career in Electrical Engineering.

You’ll be supported throughout your development, with opportunities to build your technical knowledge, gain professional experience and work towards your longer‑term career goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the design and delivery of electrical systems, including power distribution, automation, and instrumentation
  • Assist with the specification and selection of electrical equipment
  • Work closely with civil, mechanical, and process engineering teams
  • Carry out site surveys, commissioning, and technical inspections
  • Support with documentation, reports, and health & safety compliance
  • Engage with contractors, clients (e.g. Anglian Water), and supply chain partners throughout project life cycles
About you Essential
  • A 2:2 degree or above BEng or MEng/MSc in Electrical Engineering.
  • Solid and strong evidence in a project engineering environment in relevant engineering discipline
  • Detailed technical knowledge. Knowledge of inter-related engineering disciplines
  • Work in an open and collaborative way– practice integrated working with all Alliance teams and the client. Develop effective working relationships.
