Managing Quantity Surveyor

Volker Fitzpatrick offers a range and depth of civil engineering, infrastructure and building services. We are looking for a commercially astute and proactive leader who thrives in a collaborative infrastructure environment and has a passion for delivering complex projects successfully.

Ideally, you will have:

• Significant experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing Quantity Surveyor level within major infrastructure, civil engineering or utilities projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC forms of contract, particularly NEC3 and NEC
  4.
• Proven experience managing commercial teams and developing people.
• A track record of successfully delivering projects with values ranging from tens to hundreds of millions of pounds.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify risks, opportunities and value‑enhancing solutions.
• Experience of framework delivery environments and collaborative contracting models.
• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline.
• Membership of RICS, ICES or a similar professional body (or working towards chartership).
