Section Engineer - Bedford
TLG Infrastructure are actively recruiting for a Section Engineer to join a major civils and groundworks project in Bedford.
Section Engineer responsibilities:- Oversee engineering activities and site operations within your section.
- Manage setting out, dimensional control and engineering checks.
- Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate subcontractors and site teams to maintain progress.
- Monitor quality, complete inspections and maintain accurate records.
- Identify and resolve technical issues alongside the wider project team.
- Support the delivery of works safely and in line with programme requirements.
- Previous experience as a Section Engineer within civil engineering or construction.
- Strong setting-out and technical knowledge.
- Experience managing site engineering activities and coordinating subcontractors.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
