Business Analyst - Financial

Our client is commencing a major project to upgrade it's Finance ERP. We are looking for someone who can document the existing processes and support the transition to the new systems. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest tech in a state of the art office.

Peterborough based employer currently going through a major transformation of their ERP. They operate a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with finance leaders and cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, operational needs, and system requirements.

Lead the end-to-end analysis, design, and implementation of financial platforms, including requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, and solution validation.

Evaluate existing financial processes and systems to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement with a meticulous and detail-focused approach.

Translate complex financial and operational requirements into precise, well-structured functional specifications for technical teams.

Support platform configuration, testing (UAT, Dev), data migration, and integration with other enterprise systems (e.g. CRM, reporting tools).

Develop business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and implementation roadmaps for financial system enhancements.

Create and maintain detailed documentation, including process flows, requirements, user guides, and training materials.

Act as subject matter expert on financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and compliance. Business Analyst - Financial 3

Drive stakeholder communication and manage expectations throughout project life cycles.

Ensure solutions comply with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

The role holder will deliver at pace, see the "big picture", communicate and influence, make effective decisions.

We are looking for a candidate with previous Business Analysis experience ideally you will have worked on a project within a finance function. You will be happy to work on site 3 days a week at the offices in Peterborough.

£45,000 to £50,000
