Settlements Administrator

An established financial services business is seeking an experienced Administrator to support the daily settlement of trades, manage exceptions, and help mitigate settlement risk across a defined client or market group.

This is a hands‑on role offering exposure to a broad range of stakeholders and systems, ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, resolving issues, and improving processes in a regulated environment.

• Daily settlement of trades, including investigation and resolution of breaks and fails
• Running and analysing reports to identify discrepancies in trade data
• Liaising with clients, trading desks, custodians, and internal teams to resolve exceptions
• Amending trades and inputting trade data into core systems
• Supporting risk management and contributing to process improvements
• Working to KPIs, procedures and regulatory requirements

• Previous administration experience in within Financial Services
• Good understanding of investments and financial markets
• Highly numerate with strong attention to detail
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines
• Confident communicator with a strong client service mindset
• Intermediate Excel and Word skills
