Your role is to provide a high‑quality billing service to the business by working closely with the Senior Legal Biller to ensure accurate and timely invoices are issued to clients. The role supports the wider Finance function in maintaining strong financial controls, excellent client service, and efficient billing processes.

This position can be offered as Hybrid once training has been completed, working Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. We can health benefits package alongside 26 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays. We are seeking candidates to apply directly to Taylor Rose and not using agencies for this position.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High‑level data administration skills, with excellent attention to detail when handling large volumes of information
  • Experience of using practice management systems would be desirable but is not a prerequisite. However, a willingness and the ability to quickly learn new systems is a core requirement
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team providing support to others
  • Ability to operate in a professional, calm and friendly manner, even when working to tight deadlines
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to take ownership of tasks
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
This role involves but is not limited to:
  • Drafting bills and approving bills
  • Producing credit notes
  • Ensuring any agreed client fee arrangements or billing deadlines are complied with
  • Ensuring compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR) and VAT rules, for which training will be provided.
  • Respond to requests and queries sent to the Billing team in a timely and efficient manner
  • Collaborate effectively with the wider Finance team
