Group Financial Controller | PE-backed SaaS | 12-18 Months FTC Harmonic are partnered with a rapidly scaling SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) business in London to bring on board a Group Financial Controller for a period of 12-18 months. Their category-leading, AI-driven platform is redefining how companies streamline their internal operations, which has helped secure backing from a prominent private equity investor. As Group Financial Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in steering the business through this next phase of growth, leading the finance team and driving continuous improvement to the function.
The team is made up of exceptionally talented, bright and ambitious individuals combined with a strong working culture built on trust and autonomy. They have a fantastic office space in central London, with lots of cross-team collaboration which has been central to their success so far.
The Role Reporting directly into the CFO, the Financial Controller will lead core finance, managing a small team take ownership of accounting, reporting, and financial control, while driving continuous improvement across processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close across all entities. Prepare consolidated financial statements, including intercompany eliminations and FX. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and SaaS revenue recognition rules. Manage audits, statutory reporting, and multi-jurisdiction compliance. Maintain strong internal controls, policies, and financial governance. Own financial systems and drive automation and process improvements. Deliver group reporting, analysis, and SaaS KPI insights (ARR, MRR, churn, LTV/CAC).
Manage cash flow, treasury, and banking relationships. Support tax, transfer pricing, and entity structuring. Produce executive and board reporting. Lead and develop the finance team. Requirements:
