Senior Finance Business Partner

Interim Senior Finance Business Partner Day rate: £350 to £450 per day (Inside IR35)

Duration: 6 months (with potential extension) A large, high profile public sector organisation in London is seeking an experienced Interim Senior Finance Business Partner to provide strategic financial support across a complex, multi-disciplinary environment. Working within a well established finance directorate, you will play a key role in supporting senior stakeholders, delivering high quality financial insights and ensuring robust financial stewardship.

You will act as a trusted adviser, leading on budget management, financial planning and analysis, and supporting the delivery of organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

Business partnering with senior leaders, providing strategic financial advice and challenge. Leading the financial monitoring of assigned budgets Preparing and contributing to financial reports, forecasting, budget planning and annual accounts activity. Reviewing proposals and appraising financial implications. Supporting external budget and consultation processes and contributing to submissions for external bodies. Managing a small team and ensuring effective communication, development and performance.

Promoting continuous improvement, strong financial controls and value for money across the organisation. Essential requirements Fully qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent). Significant experience in financial planning, management and reporting within a large and complex public sector organisation Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present clear, actionable insights. Skilled communicator able to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
