Overview
AB Vista is seeking a motivated FP&A Analyst to join our high-performing finance team and support commercial activities across our global business. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with commercial teams, delivering in-depth financial analysis, including margin reviews, customer profitability, credit assessment and presenting in cross‑functional forums. Based in Peterborough with a hybrid working model, this position is ideal for someone looking to build a career in a dynamic, international environment with clear progression opportunities.
Hybrid, a mix of office and homeworking. This role will be based at our Peterborough offices on the Lynchwood Business Park.
Responsibilities- Support the budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning cycles in collaboration with key commercial stakeholders.
- Deliver rolling sales and margin forecasts and scenario analysis to support agile decision‑making.
- Deliver monthly sales bridges, pricing reviews and margin reporting to finance leadership and commercial teams.
- Lead and present in key cross‑functional forums – including Latest View, Operations, and Opportunities & Risks reviews – delivering clear insights, driving alignment, and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Continuously improve FP&A processes and tools to enhance global efficiency, accuracy, and automation – including but not limited to CAPEX reviews, bid modelling and credit reviews.
- Proven experience in a finance role, including budgeting, monthly reporting and understanding margin drivers.
- Advanced Excel skills with expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong presentation skills, capable of leading and engaging diverse audiences.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with non‑finance stakeholders to support performance improvement.
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to work to deadlines while maintaining high quality and accuracy of the work.
- Self‑starter with the energy and drive to make things happen in a fast‑paced environment.
Salary from £35,000, plus a benefits package designed to support your wellbeing and reward your impact, including discretionary performance‑related bonus, and a matched pension contribution of up to 10%.
