Assistant Management Accountant

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has progressed beyond a purely transactional finance role and is looking to take on greater responsibility. The successful candidate will be assisting with month-end activities, reconciling accounts, and helping to ensure the smooth running of the finance department.

The client is looking for someone who is comfortable reviewing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and working closely with the wider finance team to maintain accurate financial information. You will be confident using finance systems, able to work independently when required, and proactive in your approach to problem-solving. To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience within an Assistant Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant position, with a strong understanding of purchase ledger and general accounting principles.

Experience supporting month-end processes and producing financial information would be highly advantageous, as would studying towards an AAT, ACCA or CIMA qualification, although this is not essential. This position would suit an ambitious finance professional who enjoys a varied workload, takes pride in producing accurate work, and is looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking business.
