Personal Tax Senior​/Assistant Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Tax Senior or Assistant Manager to join a well‑established and growing Private Client Tax team based in Peterborough.

This role offers the chance to work with an impressive portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, and estates
, providing a mix of compliance and advisory services within a supportive and collaborative environment.

As a key member of the Private Client Tax team, you will:

• Manage your own portfolio of private clients, delivering exceptional client service.
• Prepare and review personal tax returns and trust tax compliance work.
• Handle trust and estate administration, including IHT
  100 and IHT
  400 reporting.
• Assist with a wide range of advisory projects, including succession planning, trust structuring, inheritance tax planning, and international tax matters.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to provide additional advisory support.
• Support, mentor, and review the work of junior team members.
• Work closely with senior managers and Partners on complex client matters.

The successful candidate will have:

• CTA, ACA, or ACCA qualification (or be qualified by experience with strong personal tax expertise).
• Previous experience working within a personal/private client tax environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK personal tax compliance, trusts, and inheritance tax.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• A proactive approach and an interest in developing advisory experience.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues would be advantageous.
