Job Summary
In this role, you will serve as a business partner to the Sales & Marketing teams, providing data analysis and financial reporting to deliver insights that support the business objectives and drive performance. The role supports the global Sales & Operations Planning process, executing the monthly process to drive effective and efficient alignment of operational and financial goals, alongside performing accountable and statutory governance and financial reporting.

This role requires 5-day per week on site presence in Peterborough.
What You Will Do
Demand Forecast Financialization (Sales & Operations Planning
Working alongside Demand, Supply Chain and Pricing teams to financialization the demand forecast monthly
Exposure to senior leadership team through review meetings and data requests.
Order Backlog Reporting
Monthly submission to the Securities & Exchange Commission - (SEC) Reporting team showing current engines orders on hand.
Holding review meetings with Divisional CFO
Completion of month end analysis & reconciliation
Analysis of sales data & generating insights
Providing financial insights and support to the SMSP sales teams
Lead and support process improvements across the team and partners
What You Have
Financial Analysis:
Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
Level Working Knowledge:
- Interprets major types of financial statements issued by the organization.
- Utilizes basic qualitative and quantitative tools and techniques with proficiency.
- Works with a specific financial analysis tool set.
- Implements valid financial analysis aligned with key criteria.
Financial Reporting:
Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.
Level Working Knowledge:
- Follows organizational practices and guidelines for product profitability reporting.
- Analyzes errors or inaccuracies in financial reports.
- Uses basic tools to create simple financial reports.
- Monitors compliance with organizational standards for financial report writing.
- Implements organizational methods and procedures for financial report writing.
Analytical Thinking:
Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Level Working Knowledge:
- Approaches a situation or problem by defining the problem or issue and determining its significance.
- Makes a systematic comparison of two or more alternative solutions.
