Group Accountant

About the Business A fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing, international services business as a Group Accountant , based in Droitwich . The business has built a strong reputation for its culture and entrepreneurial spirit, and this role offers genuine exposure to the Board and to finance teams across the globe , with real input into the commercial and strategic direction of the group.

Main Duties:
As a Group Accountant , your main duties include:
Consolidating financial results from UK and overseas divisions into the group’s accounts Preparing monthly and statutory reporting for a range of stakeholders, including senior leadership and banking contacts Partnering closely with Finance Directors and finance teams across the wider international group Delivering insight and analysis to the Board to support major commercial and strategic decisions, including M&A and funding activity Helping to develop and improve group reporting systems in collaboration with external IT providers Liaising with external advisors on wider financial reporting projects Supporting newly acquired businesses as they integrate into group finance processes Taking ownership of head office accounts Location / Office / Cultur e Based in Droitwich, this role sits within a close-knit finance team of around ten, right at the heart of the group’s head office.

What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will have: ACA/ACCA qualified – essential Technical knowledge of accounting frameworks such as IFRS and FRS – essential A background in either practice or industry – candidates moving from practice for the first time are welcome to apply
