As a Head of Finance
- Operations in Peterborough, you will oversee finance operations within the Business Services sector, helping the business maintain clear financial control and reliable reporting. You will combine operational finance oversight with financial controller responsibilities to support informed day-to-day decisions.
The organisation operates in the Business Services sector in Peterborough.
Description- Lead and develop the finance function across multiple group businesses
- Own management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and reporting
- Drive profitability through P&L analysis and commercial insight
- Manage cash flow, working capital and financial forecasting
- Improve credit control, debtor management and cash collection
- Strengthen financial controls, systems and reporting processes
- Partner with senior leaders to enhance business performance
- Ensure compliance, risk management and reporting accuracy
- Build a commercially focused, high-performing finance team
- Support the CEO and CFO in delivering the group's growth plans
- Operations' Should Have
- Experience overseeing finance operations and financial control activities.
- Strong capability in management reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
- Experience reviewing financial performance and presenting clear financial information.
- Knowledge of effective financial controls and finance processes.
- Ability to work across operational and finance teams on practical financial matters.
- Confidence identifying process improvements within an Accounting & Finance function.
- Salary of £90,000 to £115,000 dependent on the level of experience.
- Performance-related bonus.
